Swing batter-batter, swing

I was excited to try my new camera at Steph's softball game to see how it does with action shots. Here's a few of my faves...

Forget the Easter ham, this little lamb looks good enough to eat!

Alex looked so handsome in his Easter outfit I just wanted to eat him up! Steph and Grandma Eide bought this for him a year ago when I was pregnant so we've been waiting a long time to see him in it. Steph also looked very cute, I can't believe how grown up she looks.

Happy Birthsterday

Translation: Happy Birthday/Easter
For the first time that I can remember in my 36, oops, I mean 37 years (crap, that sounds so old!), Easter and my birthday fell on the same day. I was so happy that it fell on my weekend off so I could celebrate both with family. These are a bunch of my cute nieces and nephews (and my kids) getting ready to sing to me. Steve got me a really nice new camera and I'm so excited. He often calls me the paparazzi because I've always got a camera in poor Alex's face.

Alex is now a master crawler. I was trying to take a picture of him crawling and he just started charging towards me to get his little paws on my camera.
The cutest thing lately...he's starting to enjoy looking at books, and in this particular book are a lot of pictures of babies. He leans over and touches his forehead to the baby's face as if he's giving them a kiss.

just a little sidenote

Being not as technically savvy as my 15 year old, I asked Steph to add some music to this page. Turns out she added a video instead, it's pretty clever because the song says something about being silly (going along with "sillylilly's"), but it just made me laugh to think of my friends, most of whom have young kids listening to Hannah Montana and High School Musical, seeing a rap video on our blog page. Welcome to the wonderful world of teenagers, my friends.

Like mother, like son

Baby Alex is going to be just like mommy, he loves the sun and we found out last weekend, loves swimming too! He took a dip in the pool for the first time when we were in St. George for a softball tournament. Steph is playing, Steve is coaching for Kearns High.

We're Here Ya'll..

So I never had any intention of being a "blogger", but I've been so impressed with reading some of my friend's pages, I thought it would be worth a try. Since I never write in a journal, maybe this could be a good way to record some memories.
