This is Stephenie, aka "Madame Secretary", Senior Class Secretary at Kearns High.

Being involved in Student Government is a big responsibility and takes a lot of time, but there are also perks such as free entrance to school sporting events, reduced fees for dances etc. Mom and Dad are hoping it will also help out when applying for college scholarships!

Last night we were discussing the different types of honors she wants to get so as to add special cords or collars to her graduation gown. Whoooah, slow down! It is still September, right? I'm afraid this year is going to go by way too fast.

Congrats to that gorgeous and smart girl! She sounds like she is doing high school the right way! Having fun and getting involved. It will make for wonderful memories.
Way to go, Steph! It helps to get the honors and be involved to get scholarships and most importantly: an easier time getting into whatever college she applies at! I remember I got 2-3 cords at graduation for National Honor Society and some other Science and high GPA stuff. It's helped me a lot! It'll help her too!
Way to go Steph..watch out Steve she is beautiful. Bet the boys are glad you aren't there any more :) Remember Lana is is never too early to start planning :)
That is so great! Makes me almost wish I could do it over and be more involved/active...almost. I guess I will have to live vicariously through my kids!
