Steve and I were really excited for Alex to play tee-ball for the first time. We bought him a little bat, glove and ball and had a tee from when Steph was little, and for the first few weeks as soon as Steve got home from work Alex would drag him outside to practice. The league Alex was in was for ages 3-5 so Alex was definitely one of the oldest out there and didn't have a whole lot of competition playing against 3 year olds, but he didn't mind it in the least. He had a ton of fun and looked forward to each game.

In many of the pictures I took, Alex has his cheeks sucked in, I guess that is his look of concentration. |

These kids are from the other team, but I thought it was pretty hilarious that this poor coach spent 3/4 of the game trying to keep these kids from dog piling on each other every time they ran for the ball. The joy of 3 year olds playing tee ball. |

Although Steve has always been "known for" playing and coaching football, baseball was actually his first love. I know it warms his heart to see Alex excited about it as well. |

Wow, we are loving Alex's look of concentration...and Steve's new "do". Ben says he's going to the barber shop to get a perm to match Steve. :)
