I can't believe it's that time of year again, high school football season.
We had our first game last Friday against Brighton. We won, and a win against Brighton is always sweet. We've had some problems with them in the past, I won't go into the gory details, suffice it to say they seem to have an eastsider uppercrust mentality and I'm sure it stings to lose to us lowly westsiders, ha ha...(no offense if any of you are Brighton alumni!) Anyhoo...here's Steve in action on the sidelines.
Steph showing her Cougar pride...
Alex leading the crowd in a cheer...."give me a K!"
Alex and I were too tired and grouchy to go to tonight's game, but the report is that we won again, so we're off to a good start. (A happy coach makes me a happy wifey!)

Now this is some real football!!! Look at Steve in his glory! Don't we (Bingham) play you in the season? Football season is the best at any level! You should be so proud!!! :)
Yeah Coach Lilly! As a fellow West High graduate - go west side teams!
Beating Brighton is always a sweet day! I graduated from Hillcrest and they were our biggest rivals. It's funny that we received a lot of their "east-side" attitude as well, and our school was just down the road! Oh well, what do you do? I love football season...
Alex is so cute and seems to love watching the game!I love that he's in the school colors too! What a great little fan!
Oh, and I got the backpack from reioutlet.com-got a super good deal! Hope to work with you again soon!
Yeah, Jeff is pretty much never home this year. Last year wasn't bad at all because I was coaching too so I was never home either, but now I am just working at a bank and home all the time and he is gone even more, and he will be coaching basketball too... I will need some tips from you on how to pass the time!!
Oh too funny..we were in Utah a year ago visiting Dave's parents while they were on their mission and we heard all about the "fueds" between eastsiders and westsiders in general! All about what side of the highway you live on huh?!
