The Latest With the Lillys

Hooray for the sunshine and warm weather! Alex LOVES being outside. If he sees you putting your shoes on he says, "side, side" or "walk?". I always feel bad when I have to tell him, "no, we're just going in the car". His other latest obsessions are "nack" (fruit snacks) and when he sees any fast food place, "du fies" (french fries). He's quite the copy cat and likes to repeat what he hears you saying, a new skill which big sister takes advantage of and thinks it's quite funny to get him to say inappropriate words!

Speaking of big sister, she was recently inducted into the National Honor Society! That being said, she's suffering from a ravage case of Spring Fever, the cure of which we've not yet figured out, although she was quarantined to the house last weekend to work on extra credit projects. Hopefully the wrath of Mom and Dad will be enough to get those grades up in the next week!

She's also starting a new job this week working at Raging Waters for the summer. That, along with working at the Arts Festival in June, family trips, Student Leadership Camp, and I'm sure finding lots of time for socializing, I'm already seeing the summer fly by. Anyone know how to make time stand still?

And The Winner Is...

Steph won her election to become the Senior Class Secretary for next year. (Yes, I am almost the mother of a senior, and am just a tad bit freaked out about it.) We're really excited for her and so grateful she has a desire to be active in school and is making the most of her high school career. Keep up the good work, Stephenie!
